Health Savings Account (HSA)

The HSA is a savings account used to pay for qualified medical expenses directly with your HSA debit card or to reimburse yourself at any time for medical expenses paid out of pocket.

Save for healthcare expenses today and in the future with a Health Savings Account (HSA). When enrolled in the HSA Medical Plan (a High Deductible Health Plan or HDHP), you can contribute pre-tax dollars, receive contributions from Dealer Tire, and enjoy tax-free growth and withdrawals for eligible healthcare expenses. DTFOC contributes to your HSA each pay period, helping fund the annual amount over the course of the year.

You must enroll in your HSA every year to contribute. Your FSA plan options are shown below.

Your Contributions

Your contribution to an HSA is entirely voluntary and can be adjusted based on your individual needs and financial goals. Contributions are made on a pre-tax basis and the IRS poses limits on the amount you can contribute. For 2026, the IRS contribution limits are:
• $4,400 individual and $8,750 family
• For those 55 and older, you have a $1,000 catch-up contribution

DTFOC’s Contribution

To be eligible for the DTFOC employer contribution, you are required to make an annual minimum contribution of $52 to your Health Savings Account.
• Employee only: Up to $500 annually
• Employee and spouse: Up to $1,000 annually
• Employee and child(ren): Up to $1,000 annually
• Family: Up to $1,000 annually

What Are Eligible Expenses?

The IRS maintains a list of all eligible expenses. Common qualified expenses include acupuncture, ambulance services, dental treatments, contact lenses, doctor’s fees, and hearing aids. Click to view the complete list of qualified expenses:
